Biography

Areej Allahyani is a Lecturer in Accounting at Umm Al-Qura University in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

She was awarded the UQU Faculty Members Scholarship to pursue her studies in the UK. She began her studies in 2023.

The focus of her studies is the alignment of academic and professional accounting education.

It is not only seeking to understand Saudi Arabia’s CAs shortage but also aims to develop strategies that align with its economic dynamics, potentially offering insights applicable to the global accounting profession, especially in countries facing similar challenges.
