International Study Centre Newcastle Experience Survey 26th January - 8th February 2026

The International Study Centre Newcastle Experience Survey runs every year for undergraduate students who are not in their final year. It’s an opportunity to share your thoughts about your time at Newcastle University so far, what you’ve enjoyed and what could be improved. Your feedback helps Newcastle University understand what’s working well and identify areas where we can make positive changes across courses, departments, and student support services.

Supporting the Newcastle Experience Survey

There is a central promotion campaign, including weekly emails, campus pop-up stalls, posters, and student incentives including campus coffee vouchers and Co-op gift cards. Alongside this, support from schools is essential in encouraging students to take part. —support from Schools is what truly drives student participation.

How Schools Can Make a Difference

  • Share survey information on Canvas, in classes, and through newsletters.

  • Showcase real improvements made as a direct result of past student feedback.

  • Create space by setting aside a few minutes in teaching sessions for students to complete the survey.

  • Support access by ensuring computers, tablets, or Wi-Fi are available where needed.

  • Integrate the survey into your School’s wider student engagement activities.

  • Involve students by encouraging reps or ambassadors to help spread the word.

Every completed survey is a step toward a better learning environment. By championing the Newcastle Experience Survey, you empower students to share what matters most—and help us continue building an outstanding university experience for all.
