Project description

We are working with Biotransformation Innovation Platform (BioTrans) of A*STAR, Singapore. We are investigating fungal fermentation using miniaturised fluidised bed bioreactors.

The first part of the project focused on fluidised bed design and fabrication. We carried out this investigation at Newcastle University.

The second part of the project involves fungal fermentation and bioprocess using a fluidised bed bioreactor. We are currently conducting this in the BioTrans lab in Singapore.
