Library services and support over the Spring break

The Library is here to support your studies whether you’re staying in Newcastle for the break, or venturing away from campus. Our buildings will be open (apart from Easter Sunday 31 March) for you to use our variety of study spaces, borrow and return items, and get help from Library staff. If you’re off campus, you can access online resources and get the help you need remotely.

Help with assignments and assessments

We have a wealth of online resources available to you wherever you are studying. The best way to access these is through Library Search or your Subject Guide, as this ensures you are authenticated as a Newcastle University staff member or student. You can find our tips on how to search for e-books or e-journals on the Finding Information Online page on the Academic Skills Kit.
