Aims

To extend the range of skills and subject matter of students engaged in creative writing.

To allow students to reflect creatively and critically on their own and other people's writing.

Outline Of Syllabus

Combines writing activities with discussion of existing examples, leading to a draft of the student’s own extended work.

Teaching Rationale And Relationship

Throughout the weeks of study students will undertake writing exercises in the seminars and will reflect as a group upon each other’s writing. They will incorporate comments through revision and selection of, and an essay upon, their final submission.

The format of resits will be determined by the Board of Examiners
