Treasures we keep - MA in Museum Studies
We invite you to join the launch of the annual experimental, student-led intervention in the Great North Museum: Hancock on campus.
Curated by Newcastle University’s MA Museum Studies students, this exhibition is the culmination of their "Producing Curatorial Projects for Museum Audiences" module, shaped by the guidance of the museum staff.
This year’s exhibition explores objects that people in the past treasured and kept close to their bodies for various reasons, and compares them with what we hold close in the 21st century. You will have a chance to meet students and course instructors of the Museum Studies, Curating Art, and Global Heritage Management MA programmes, who are happy to answer your questions and share their experiences.
