Aims

The module aims to provide a series of present-in-person (PiP) learning opportunities to build a cohesive student learning community (for N200 N120 N121 that can work effectively in on-line sessions, and to build on and enhance the learning and skills development activities that occur elsewhere on the programme. The sessions are integrated into the programme to provide learning and community building activities that particularly benefit from present-in-person learning. The module will be supported as necessary with online learning activities.

Outline Of Syllabus

The syllabus incorporates four key areas that are linked to the module learning outcomes. These include:
1.       Peer support
2.       Organisational skills
3.       Critical evaluation and writing
4.       Research in business and organisational studies

The module builds on and supports the skills and learning developed in the core / compulsory modules at each stage. In semester 1, the module will include
2 x one-hour sessions per week for each stage, in total 16 PiP learning activities per stage. The 16 PiP learning activities will include
