To develop the principles and mathematics of photogrammetry and laser scanning introduced in Stage 2.

Outline Of Syllabus

The module will start by briefly reviewing material covered in CEG2708. The theoretical basis of photogrammetric computer vision will then be studied in lectures and practical's. Principles of digital image measurement will provide a background on automated techniques in photogrammetry and laser scanning. The course will conclude with a review of ongoing research and development in the photogrammetry and laser scanning sciences.
