Teaching Rationale And Relationship
The module will be delivered using a mix of on-line synchronous and asynchronous activity supported by PIP activity together with on-line synchronous Q&A and Drop-in Sessions. There are two full day, on-line synchronous Project Management simulation sessions undertaken in virtual groups.
Knowledge of theory and practice are addressed within the on-line synchronous and asynchronous activities with practical application being addressed within the two on-line synchronous project management simulation.
Alternatives will be offered to students unable to be present-in-person due to the prevailing C-19 circumstances. Student’s should consult their individual timetable for up-to-date delivery information.

Assessment Rationale And Relationship
The learning outcomes of this module are about developing student skills and abilities to deliver effective and efficient construction projects. As “live” projects are delivered through teams of people working together it is essential that the students are able to simulate some of this practice and the simulation exercises, presentation and teamworking report, reflecting on the team working process, will be carried out in groups. The Assessment profile for the module consists of three activities as identified below:
Project Management Report (70%), Group Team Working Report (30%).
