Aims

SOC1001 constitutes a non-credit bearing module which provides students with essential academic skills required for the modules delivered on the programme. The module also seeks to enrich students overall learning experience.

Outline Of Syllabus

The activities to be carried out in the context of this module are as follows:
•       Sociology specific induction activities
•       Employment and engagement activities
•       Understanding the marking criteria
•       Subject specific study and learning skills including using feedback
•       Using Sociology in everyday life
