Assessment Rationale And Relationship

An important aspect of this module is working effectively both as a group and as an individual to undertake a series of activities, demonstrating the skills required, analysing data and making decisions. Therefore, the assessment includes the following: group assessment on an agreed topical issue (40%) and computer assessment with basic statistics in the lab including its application to a case study (60%). Peer evaluation will be included in the group assessment in line with NUBS Groupwork Policy.

Formative assessments will occur in the workshops in both semesters to link the workshops to the summative assessment.
