Assessment Rationale And Relationship

Formative Feedback

Formative feedback is provided throughout the module by encouraging learners to respond to questions and engage in reflection, dialogue, debate and discussion. Learners will also be encouraged to collaborate with other learners to co-produce knowledge and ideas about practice.

Summative Assessment

The module assessment enables learners to achieve the learning outcomes and to consolidate their learning by articulating their conceptual understanding and how it is used in practice. The 2,000 word analyst report requires a critical evaluation of the financial position, performance and global macroeconomic context for a publicly listed commercial organisation. This requires not only the basic knowledge of the areas covered in the report but the application and synthesis of this knowledge to create a cohesive, logical and well-structured report.
