Aims

To develop students’ awareness of the market for their work, opportunities for publication, funding and publicity available to poets. It will also encourage students to become aware of the multiple paths by which they can disseminate their work, develop their audience and source income via their writing.

Outline Of Syllabus

This module will be offered only in exceptional circumstances in lieu of a student's participation in 'MA in Poetry: Summer School 1' and only with the permission of the Degree Programme Director. This module will consist of a semester of independent study, plus a one-hour tutorial. A selection of essential reading and viewing will be provided.
