Background
I am a Newcastle University graduate having completed both my undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications here. Upon completion of my PhD, I worked in a variety of roles in industry before joining Durham University’s Research and Innovation Services, initially in Research Grants and Contracts and then Research Funding Development. I joined Newcastle University in 2020, as the Senior Research Funding Development Manager for the Newcastle Wellcome Trust Translational Partnership, followed by Senior Research Funding Development Manager for Translational Research and Experimental Medicine and leading the FMS RFDM team. In 2026, I joined the NIHR Maternity Disparities Consortium as the Programme Manager for Capacity Building.
