Masters of Architecture MArch
Facilities and support
I really enjoy the course, staff, facilities and the campus. My studio tutors are extremely friendly and offer fantastic support alongside my learning. The facilities in the architecture department including the printing facilities, the workshop and the HBBE and OME lab are one of the reasons I chose to study at Newcastle.
Having the personal touch of being assigned a Personal Tutor alongside my studies means I always have a point of call if needed. The Global Opportunities team were also fantastic in preparation and during my exchange and summer opportunity which made the whole process easier and exciting.
Making memories whilst studying abroad
I did an exchange semester abroad to the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm Sweden. This involved studying at a world-renowned university, expanding my portfolio and perspectives while deepening my understanding of the culture and having the opportunity to travel, explore and make friends across the world. It was one of the best opportunities I have ever taken part in and would recommend it to everyone to get involved!
The chance to travel
The degree has a flexible nature and offers you the pathway to qualifying as an architect. You can build the course as your desire, tailoring to your interests and passions with support through reviews and tutorials with your best matched tutors.
I enjoy the weekly design tutorials, working in the workshop, and taking part in events and communicating my ideas in different medias and forms. The workshop staff and facilities are great, the studio vibe is friendly, warm and supportive.
