Aims
To provide an introduction to photogrammetry and laser scanning and an awareness of the ways in which data is captured, processed, analysed and applied.
Outline Of Syllabus
The module will provide an overview of photogrammetric and laser scanning data capture and processing. The course will start by examining methods for image and data capture from photogrammetry. Lectures on laser scanning will introduce this complementary technique. In addition to airborne techniques, terrestrial and close range techniques will be examined.
