Assessment Rationale And Relationship

Assessment of the practical work performed during the project will be carried out by the project supervisor. In addition, students will be expected to submit a final written report (6000 words) summarising the context and results. After submission of the report, students will make a presentation (10 minutes) on their work to an audience consisting of at least the industrial supervisor and a member of academic staff, who will then together conduct an oral examination (40 minutes) of the candidate. The summary slide will consist of approximately 75% project summary and 25% reflection on skills acquired and developed.
