Your step-by-step guide
You can apply through Clearing if you haven't got into your chosen university.
If your results are better than expected, you can reconsider what or where to study by applying through Adjustment.
You can apply to a different course or university through Adjustment without losing your original place.
We'll take you through the Clearing steps below.
Results day: check your grades
You can check UCAS Track to see if you have been accepted onto your chosen course from 6 August for Scottish Highers or 15 August for A level and BTEC qualifications.
- If you have not been accepted, you can check our subjects in Clearing to see what courses are available
- If your grades are better than required and you have been accepted for your chosen course, you can find a place at a different university through Adjustment. You have 5 days to do this, while still keeping your original place. We have places available for high-achieving students.
