Make Newcastle yours
Each year, universities have places left on their courses after the application deadline closes in June. You can apply for one of those places.
UK students: applying through Clearing
Clearing is operated by the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).
Clearing opens on Saturday 5 July 2025.
You can use Clearing to apply to Newcastle University if:
- you haven't received any university offers, or none you want to accept
- you don't meet the conditions of your offer
- you decline your firm place using the ‘decline my place’ function
- you’re applying after 30 June
We know you might be nervous about going through Clearing, so we’re here to support you.
