Media and Public Relations MA
What I love about Newcastle
I just love Newcastle as a city and my favourite part is being involved in university schemes that give you experience and get to see first-hand where you might want to work. For example, we went to London on a trip to some of the UK’s leading advertising firms and it was a great experience to learn and network from industry experts.
Stand outs of my degree
One of the most interesting things about my degree has been learning about the reputation of organisations and exploring whether campaigns are primarily profit driven or if they’re genuine practices to build long term relationships. This has given me the knowledge and confidence to hopefully have my own career and business in the industry – I see myself being a director of a public relations firm or my own agency in the future.
