Research

Research Interests

My main research strategies centre upon longitudinal clinical assessment of patients with neurodegenerative disorders with follow up to death and request for brain autopsy.  Studies focussed upon Lewy body disease have contributed to the development of globally used Consensus criteria for the clinical and pathological diagnosis and management of dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) and related disorders. I am a longstanding member of UK MRC CFAS www.cfas.ac.uk/ and have led several international multicentre trials of diagnostic and treatment agents.
