Roles and Responsibilities

I am a Grants and Contracts Manager within the Research Grants and Contracts Team. As a Grants and Contracts Manager I am responsible for:

- Leading research contract negotiations with funders on behalf of the academic community;

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating all types of contracts relating to research;

- Managing contractual matters in relation to eternally funded research projects; 

- Ensuring compliance with relevant internal and external policies and procedures.  

As part of my role I am an authorised signatory for research grants and contracts acceptance on behalf of the University.  

Qualifications

BSc(Hons) Microbiology (Heriot-Watt University)

PhD (University of Reading) "The identification of genes required for growth of Streptococcus uberis in milk"
