What you'll learn
The course will shape your understanding of:
- quantitative analysis approaches in logistics, operations, quality and supply chain management
- how the mainstream supply chain information systems work
- how information technology can improve the efficiency of supply chain management
Choose the Supply Chain and Logistics Modelling and Control module if you would like to apply for MCIPS upon successful completion of studies. This meets the required CIPS specialised content.
Build your knowledge of Kaizen group work and the use of professional collaborative digital platforms. This will be through our E-Logistics Management for Supply Chain Competitive Advantage module.

Our teaching is informed by research. Course content changes periodically to reflect developments in the discipline, the requirements of external bodies and partners, and student feedback.

How you'll learn
The course is modular in structure, comprising 180 credits.
Each year we arrange an industry visit and invite guest speakers from industry to share their experiences and insights with you.

You'll work with local partners on a consultancy project. You'll adopt an Action Research or Design Science approach to researching a business problem identified by the organisation (subject to application and performance).
Your teaching and learning is also supported by Canvas. Canvas is a Virtual Learning Environment. You'll use Canvas to submit your assignments and access your:

Throughout your studies, you’ll have access to support from:

Fees and funding
Tuition fees for 2022 entry (per year)
If your studies last longer than one year, your tuition fee may increase in line with inflation.
Depending on your residency history, if you’re a student from the EU, other EEA or a Swiss national, with settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, you’ll normally pay the ‘Home’ tuition fee rate and may be eligible for Student Finance England support.
EU students without settled or pre-settled status will normally be charged fees at the ‘International’ rate and will not be eligible for Student Finance England support.
